There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work. In my experience as a Montgomery real estate professional, I have also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I have found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I have always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients. So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in the Tri-County area, please contact me.

"Thank you for all the extra time you put in checking on our house and belongings during the time the house was on the market. We truely appreciate your thoughtfulness. It allowed us to feel more comfortable with all of our belongings still being in the house. Thank you again"

Dear Michelle,
I feel for you. I know so many people that are in your situation. I wish you the very best. You said that your house is listed. Is it listed with a Realtor? If "Yes". I would have her put out a sign rider that says - "Let's talk trade", "Want to trade" or "Let's make a trade". This will definitely get noticed by your neighbors and drive by's and could possibly get the process started. Also, your agent can advertise the fact that you are willing to participate in a trade. Here is Alabama when we do a trade, it is usually an escrow sale. Have your Realtor discuss this in detail with you and be sure that you're willing to participate in this type of transaction.
Good Luck and take care,
Tina Lilly

Hi Sharon,
I have to agree with April as well. Knowing how much you qualify to purchase is the most important thing. Once that has been established then you can begin shopping for that affordable dream home.
There are several web sites that you can visit to see what is available but I highly recommend that you find a Realtor that you enjoy working with and that you can trust and using him or her as a buyer's agent. They should go out of their way to make you happy and help you find the right house for your needs and budget.
Please check out my web site at
http://www.tinalilly.com It has loads of information about mortgages, Realtors, purchasing a new home and you can search the MLS. If I can be of any assistance or answer any further questions, I'm just a phone call away.
Good luck and take care...Tina

Hello Belinda,
I am a realtor in the Prattville, AL area. I know of several builders that would be interested in a lease to purchase option.
There will be some stipulations. They generally require a large deposit. This could be anywhere between $5000 - $10,000 (This is also considered as downpayment). They will usually just do a 1 year lease to purchase but I have known a few to extend it up to 5 years. Also, you will have to fill out a credit application with the builder, this is usually between $150 - $250 and is non-refundable.
If your interested, I would love to help you out. Please give me a call.
Take care and best of wishes...Tina - Fri Jun 6 2008, 07:24
