About Me
David Brewer, Realtor®
10 years sales and marketing experience!
Specializing in Montana relocations and real estate sales to all walks of life. If you are new to the area we welcome you in the spirit of Montana and a personal touch here in Big Sky Country.
For both buyers and sellers I can walk you through each step with great due diligence and attention to detail. Let me hear your needs and you will see the options we have for you here in Montana.

Montana native…

I am from the Flathead and have traveled the entire state of Montana as a kid, even helped to compile a guide book written by my mother Chris and published by Falcon Press called “Family FUN in Montana.” I was fortunate to be able to enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and skiing all through my life here. It is truly one of the last best places on Earth, and when you know people from Montana you know what I mean. My father, Ken Brewer, has spent his career with the US Forest Service from the district, to regional, and now national level. This has always given me a unique insight to Montana.

Family…

Soon to be a married man and officially off the market. I am very proud of my fiancé Ashley, who is a nurse in our local Missoula Community.

Challenges…

I am a cancer survivor. I was attending Montana State University when I was diagnosed, and there was a tumor the doctors described as a ‘baseball’ found in my lower back. With surgery and chemo I was successful in beating my cancer, and have now been in remission for 5 years. I am a volunteer at the Montana Cancer Center and I feel thankful that we have such a wonderful place right here in Missoula.

Sense of Humor…

I always have had my motto ‘Keepin it real’ and I am very genuine and likeable for all who know me. One of the most important things is that my customers laugh and will relate to me in some way.

There are lots of services out there to provide foreclosures, most of them will charge you a fee. Orr service is free and with no obligation to get you the list. Our agent is hoping that if you find a ohouse you like on the list you will consider using them as your agent.

I would be happy to get you the list of foreclosures in Mayes county, which should include any homes in Pryor.

Please let me know how to contact you with the list.

LIsa, I'd have to say false. It could be true of that person's home or neighborhood. It could be true of a house you sell next year. But not quite 10% in MIssoula right now.

As a general example, if you sold a home in the Missoula Urban area bought in Aug. 2007 and the home sold right now, it is down by an average of $13,400, about 6%.

Which also means buying a home becomes cheaper in Missoula this year than last year by about $13K and more in other areas.

For example, someone planning to sell thier Missoula home and relocate to a Michigan area would find that the prices have fallen in that area much farther and will see their money go further.

We didn't see the extreme rise of prices and won't have an extreme fall. There has been a gradual increase over 10 years but in Missoula right now it has been going down overall.

Missoula Urban Area - Month of August
Average home sold
2008: $213,500
2007: $226,900
2006: $199,900
2005: $195,000
2004: $179,000

Interests
Happiness..

I have always enjoyed sales and decided to make it my career. My favorite thing about it is the feeling you get when you have made a deal and both parties walk away happy. I have trained many sales people in the past and have found it to be a very rewarding job for the right kind of person. My colleagues and coworkers have always commented that sales is my passion. My personality comes across right away, and I think it is always important to have fun no matter what you are doing.

Hobbies...

In the winter season you will find me enjoying the sno on my snowboard. Which is nice since here in Montana we only have 3 seasons:
Winter
July
and August!
