Is now a good time to buy in Cordova, TN 38016?

Hi Lisa,

I live in Cordova and absolutely love it. It is convenient to everything and I don't even have to go into Memphis if I don't want to. Cordova has a huge inventory, but you can get a deal with the right agent. It is very much a buyer's market and you can get a lot of house for the money. Cordova has really gotten a bum wrap but I am confident it will recover, when all the dust settles from the annexation. I am sure it will be like other areas-some good and some bad. I have read all the answers and I totally agree-2 bedroom is much better for all the reasons listed. I will tell you I had a one bedroom listed and it just wouldn't sell. Are there any brokers in Memphis that don't charge agents a monthly desk fee?

I am with Keller Williams Realty. There is a $75.00 monthly fee, but you get email, a website, Realtor.com and unlimited support from staff, other agents and training courses. I made the decision 3 years ago to go to KW and have never regretted my decision. This is an agent run company and believe it or not, agents have a say in policy decisions. There are so many great areas in Memphis. I have a relocation guide that I will be happy to send you that will acquaint you will all areas. Of course, your critieria and budget play a huge part in the areas you choose. Fayette County is a boom area currently and the taxes are the lowest in the tri county area. Many Memphis residents are trying to move east of Memphis-Arlington, Lakeland and Fayette County.
