I am looking to buy a townhome in Aston. Would this, after 5 years, be a good investment? Is Aston growing?

Boy Heather, if only us agents had THAT crystal ball! I believe that just about any investment in real estate is a good one. The Aston Community has seen growth like most of the communities west of the Blue Route. There are some great deals in Aston, although some of my buyers think that the taxes are high. If you're a first-time homebuyer things are even better because of low interest rate and high housing inventory. Be sure to contact a Realtor who is knowledgeable about the area. - Sat Jul 19 2008, 08:41

Buying a house is always a good idea. Where to buy your house depends on many factors such as proximity to work, the local schools and what type of housing you are looking for. Is it a primary residence or an investment property that you are looking for? This sometimes makes a difference.
