About Me
I am a Technical Savvy real estate professional who has not lost sight of old fashioned personal service. My personal website is “State of the Art” and very informative in many aspects, not just real estate.
I have appreciated the opportunity to help many homebuyers find their ideal homes and many sellers obtain top dollar for their homes. For many people their homes are their largest assets. "Jennifer Bayne was our realtor who assisted us selling our house and buying a new one. In the downturn housing market, it was hard to sell our house at first, but she encouraged us and gave us many advices to update the house so that we could sell it. We eventually sold our house for the price we asked for. During the same time, she took us to see the numerous properties we were interested in buying. We placed a bit for one house and could close the deal in about 3 weeks. She is very knowledgeable about the properties on the market in Baltimore area, and is very skilled in negotiating with the buyer’s agent as well as the seller’s agent. There are many lenders out there who can help you and should not charge you a dime up front. As a first time home buyer look into all of your options, grants and other incentives that may be available. I work with a fabulous lender who specializes in the various grant programs (I am also a preferred Realtor for the Harbel Housing Association). I agree with Joel. A few other things to consider when selliing a house are:
- Does your house have Curb Appeal? When people drive by it should look great - they will want to see the inside if the outside looks great.
- How well does the interior show? Do you have loud paint, wall paper? Is it cluttered? I know it is hard to believe that everyone can't appreciate our own style, but you need to make sure the house is clutter free and shows like a model home.
- How many photos are on the internet? I have buyers who won't go see a house if there is only one picture posted. Their theory, if it isn't worth more photos it isn't worth my time.
These things really do make a difference.
