It can create a cloud on the title. If it is off the property line. the new owner can ask you to move it. Before installing a fence look for iron pins marking property lines to void future problems. - Mon May 5 2008, 12:51
Foolish isn't it! Because I can send you the Tax records of a property and square footage is on that record. But they tell us in Real Estate school that we are NOT Apprasiers and they are the only ones that can quote square footage. We still a lot of house for the money in Georgia and that comes from many the folks I have worked with over the years moving from other areas............have a great day! - Mon May 5 2008, 12:30
Welcome to the great state of Georgia! I am a native and will tell you there are a lot of nice neighborhoods that are kid friendly! May I suggest that since you mention your children first in your concerns that you check out the school stats in georgia and choose a school area you feel your children will receive the BEST education for their future! Then look at where you will be working for distance in driving. Everybody is concerned with the Gas prices and traffic.............Don't leave out Cobb and Cherokee Counties in your research.....great schools, convenience with a lot of kid friendly neighborhoods. I have a e-program that can automaticily send you new listings when they come on the market by email. But you would have to pen point what area or school district that is of interest to you. Visit my website and email me if I can be of further assistance. Oh, and by the way, on my website go to Links and there are websites to check out School stats in Georgia. - Mon May 5 2008, 12:22
Kennesaw is the next town over from Acworth, New Homes sales are a record slow down.........so there are a lot of deals and standing inventory is being reduced, but hopefully in a couple of months activity will pick up .............Woodstock is in the top 10 fastest growing areas in the USA.............so hold on your talents will be needed soon........Both are very nice areas with great schools ......May I suggest you check with some Renovation companies for employment............Homeowners and investors are renovating! - Mon May 5 2008, 12:06
So if I understand this situation the contract has expired, buyers could not close because their house hasn't closed. Listing agent is now with new company. So there is no contract. How bad do you want these buyers, is the question? If I were this Seller, I would want representation also. Just so that all areas were covered in the rental contract, if they wanted tobuy the home later. In the long run, you are better off having Realtors involved so everything is covered.
