Your best bet would be to contact a local agent in the area. I love it up there - so beautiful! - Tue Aug 19 2008, 10:21

There is BOTH St. Tammany Parish bond money left AND STATE level but the parish is a little faster to close and with a lower interest rate of 5.9%. Each program has their own guidelines so you will need to talk to a lender directly to see if you qualify. Email or call me if you need the name of a lender. - Tue Aug 19 2008, 10:14

Right now in Kenner it would take 8.5 months for Kenner to run out of homes for sale if nothing else would come onto the market. Since October the average asking price has bounced above and a little below $300,000, with that being said it looks like it is stabilizing for the time being. It's a GREAT time to buy! - Fri May 2 2008, 08:48

I would change agents NOW. Interview other agents in your area until you find one you "click" with. This is too big of a purchase to suffer through the process with someone you don't work well with. Personally speaking I would not consider my buyer being picky after only 3 units in ONE building. Not sure what the average number of homes I show my clients before they buy but I would say that after a dozen homes we may sit down for a reality check. That reality check consists of what does the buyer now consider the must haves and are there any features that in the beginning they thought they couldn't live without and after looking those featrues move into the nice to have category. Good luck!! - Sat Mar 8 2008, 16:33

You may also want to get a second opinion with a different broker in your area as well, just to be sure you are comparing apples to apples! Wishing you all the best in the sale. - Mon Feb 25 2008, 08:42
