About Me

Kenna Real Estate is the brain child of Brian and Rita Burke. Kenna and Co. was established in 2006, a decision both Brian and Rita strongly felt was the right move to make. Brian is the managing Broker at Kenna Real Estate and usually is the one working directly with and taking good care of buyers and sellers. Brian also oversees a team of four broker associates and a transaction coordinator to keep the transactions moving along smoothly. Rita, albeit not seen out of the office much, is also a licensed real estate agent. Rita works mostly behind the scenes on marketing, advertising and other projects. Both Brian and Rita can be described as tenacious, persistent, and hard working. You will also see that we are easy-going, positive and fun to be around with.

Here is a little more personal information about us:
Brian Burke grew up in Littleton, CO and knows Denver inside and out. Brian has an extensive construction background and could build anything. He designed and built a home in Cherry Creek and has done numerous other building projects including apartments, commercial buildings and parks. Brian is extremely creative and persistent. His motto is "Taking care of Business". On a personal note when Brian is not working (not very often) you can find him at the gym or painting, he is an amazing artist. Brian loves to teach our baby new "tricks" and he is also a super great chef!
Brian was named RER Realtor of the year in 2005.

Rita Burke grew up in Finland and moved to Florida in the early 1990's. Along with a career in skydiving (from production manager to vice president of parachute sales and manufacturing company) Rita concentrated on studies at University of South Florida in Tampa and received a Bachelor's Degree in science in 1998. Rita has called Colorado home since 2001 and is concentrating on the marketing side at Kenna Real Estate. Rita has widely traveled across the globe from Brazil to Jordan, from Greenland to Greece and many places in between. Creativity comes naturally to Rita and often with Brian, no words are needed, we think alike. Rita enjoy to exercise and spend time outdoors. Yet most nights you will find Rita in front of the computer working her fingers off.
