If you are interested we could discuss how I might be able to assist you in the purchase of your 1st home and if you meet the lenders qualifiacations we would then search for that perfect home for you. JD: be happy to get your home on the market for you. Location, Location Location........is key! Yes, Lot's of homes are on the market. There are buyers but fewer qualify because of the lenders tightening of their requirements. We are local realtors living in Coopersburg with Keller Williams Allentown office and know the area well. to many variables with this one.... price of home impacts how much the 12% low ball was... was it 12k or 24k or 36k for a 100k, 200k+300k home or more? I have refused an offer in the past with the same result....... After a time or two of this occurance, I learned negotiation works to my advantage. Only your agent can answer the question for you, as to why he chose to refuse rather then counter. Be assertive and ask him point blank what his reasoning was and why?
