You are not alone. Many sellers are in the same predicament. Have you checked with your lender for the possibility of a short sale? That means, selling it for less that the loan amount. Be sure if you do a short sale the lender forgives your debt. Otherwise, you get taxed on the amount of the loss as if it were income. There is a company that works with sellers in this situation.
