Testimonials
""Absolutely Outstanding. John Brassner went out of his way to do everything to make the process go smoothly and after purchase provided assistance and follow-up""
Marian Schauerte Fri Jul 11
"My husband, Bob, and I moved into our new "WOW" house on June 30, 2006. We would have never been able to do this if it had not been for John Brassner. To save you from reading pages and pages of details in regards to John finding us this spectacular "new" WOW house and marketing our "old" house in such a fashion that it sold in 24 days, I would just like to tell you that this all happened because of John's hard work, dedication to his buyer/sellers and his superior professional attitude. It has been a great pleasure working with John. Bob and I are looking forward to a continued relationship with John. Sincerely, Sylvia E. Weber"

"We have sold six properties and purchased ten with John. His attention to service and listening and negotiation skills created smooth transactions for all of our deals. There is no doubt that I will use him for all of our future real estate needs in Nevada."

John Brassner, MBA, REALTOR® answered:
John, a good Realtor will negotiate for the seller to pay most of your closing costs. I have done VA purchases where nothing came out of the buyer's pocket except for the inspection costs.

John Brassner, MBA, REALTOR® answered:
The appraisal is property of the finance company/builder--whoever ordered it. I would be completely understandable for you to ask to see them. However, they may decide not to show them to you and that is their right. Did you use a Realtor? Your Realtor should be negotiating with them to lower the purchase price to the appraised price without further appraisal.

Goodl luck,

Mortgages for Japanese buyers

John Brassner, MBA, REALTOR® answered:
Ayin, have you heard of a "Yen mortgage?" Basically you can borrow at the 日本 interest rate plus some margin. So your interest rate will be quite low. However, you must have 50% down payment. I have another broker that requires less down payment but it will be at US interest rates.

I also have a Japanese-speaking (日本語) Realtor on my team.

Contact me for more info.

Thank you.

John Brassner, MBA, REALTOR® answered:
However, a seller may be suspicious of a buyer who doesn't want to be known and if they have mulitple offers they may put little weight on your offer. Further, if the property is bank-owned, most will not allow assignees. - Wed Oct 8 2008, 10:30
John Brassner, MBA, REALTOR® answered:
Specifically, there is not. Within the development you will not find banks, grocery stores and the like. However, nearby that kind of infrastructure is being/has been developed. For some there is room for improvement right now; The nearest Smith's grocery store for example is 2 miles away. There will be more infrastructure closer but it will take time. If you like things within walking distance or real short driving distance, Mountain's Edge may not be for you right now. I have some other opinions about the community both positive and negative if you are interested in learning more. - Fri Oct 3 2008, 10:34
