The sales allowance for Ohio Hud homes is automatically given at closing if you are an owner occupant. It can be used for all or a combination of closing costs, repairs or mortgage reduction. However, if the entire amount is not used for any of these purposes the remaining amount will not be paid out ie: cash/check at closing. - Sat Aug 9 2008, 05:02
