looking for foreclosure, short sale, REOs in Waukesha county

Therea re many foreclosures and short sales available on the MLS. As Adam stated, sheriff's sales are also an option though many times the buyer is not allowed to even preview the home at a sheriff's sale. In Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties alone, there are well over 100 properties listed for sale in MLS.

How can I tell how long a house has been on the market?

A real estate professional has the ability through the MLS to tell you how many days a property has been on the market as well as any price reductions that may have been done during the time of the listing.
