Tacoma is like any other city, from the standpoint of having a varity of areas, depending on price point there are alot of homes to choose from . I have lived in and sold Real estate in the Tacoma, Gig harbor area for 7 Years. If you can give me an idea of what your buyers price point is and I can tell or email them what their best options are ? Knowing that different parts of the country are in different markets I can offer numerous options to them and would gladly assist them in their relocation . It can vary depending on where you live,In our area the closing costs are typically split between the buyer and seller with each paying their own. On my estimated nets sheets for sellers I use 2% for fees above commission for sellers expenses. So if you were paying 6% total commission I would estimate your costs at 8% - Wed May 7 2008, 09:28
In todays real estate market it is often possible to get a owner contract, or possibly a 2nd mortgage, You are then looking for a home that as an owner that is not not in dire straits and perhaps has already moved on and has two house payments. Depending on the sellers financial needs some can be fairly flexible.
