I agree with the mind set of going with the one you are comfortable with regardless of the 35 miles difference. If she brought you a plan you like, you communicate well with her and believe in her abilitites..these qualities are what count the most in your "team" approach to marketing your home for sale. Hi Valerie - with preforeclosure sales...they won't "wait" per say with your offer now for January but it may be likely that they will still be avail closer to your preferred closing time in January.(and for less money!) I am working this market heavily now and know lots of ins and out of this "short sale" and preforeclosure market! There are lots of ways to work it for you! Call me or contact me via: homesbygeri.com - indicate the mls numbers you are currently interested in...and I can give you more insight as to the situation and what could happen. Probably November or late september,,,is realistic to look at the status at that time and put your offer in with your preferred closing date. Anything is possible in this market..we just have to be creative and defer to lots of experiences that I and my coworkers have been seeing to put together the best angle for you to get the best home for you.
