Freddy Solis answered:
Real Estate is one of the best investments around specially if you hold on to it for a long period of time, unless you own another home do not consider giving up this property, you have not lost anything, you still have a home to live in and to keep you warn. Remember just as when you had equity in your home you had not made any money until you sell it. All you have right now is unrealized losses that are not interfering with your way of life, if you can still afford and are able to pay your mortgage on time keep it, do not look at how much your property is worth right now.
If you are one of those overnight buy and sell type of investor I would have to say be wise and make adjustments to your current situation and continue with your search of better and more profitable investment in this current real estate market, there is plenty out there. Good luck. - Mon Sep 8 2008, 15:03

Freddy Solis answered:
It is possible more than one bank is involved in this property and can not agree on letting this property go. If this property is in that much need of fixing, it might best you search for another property to avoid delays and future headaches trying to repair it. Many houses are out there priced close to what your limits are many of them are in better shape, just get yourself a Realtor to help your search that perfect home that best fits your needs.
Jenny hope you get what you are searching for, best of luck. - Tue Aug 19 2008, 20:27

Digital Camera Upgrade

Freddy Solis answered:
Dawn most digital cameras with 10 mega pixels or more will do just fine. If you plan to do wide angle shots and will require better lighting such as you get by adding a larger o manual flash to get better professional looking pictures a more expensive SLR camera will work best for you.
Dawn of course you must take in consideration that those larger and more sophisticated cameras required extra care and photographic knowledge to get the results you want, but they are worth the effort, your clients will be very happy with the results.

Dawn join ActiveRain blogs you will find many tips and information related to Real Estate plus much information we Real Estate agents can use in our business.

Freddy Solis answered:
I do not have any of those designations but what I have seen and been told designations do not help you to get clients because most of the population out there do not know what they stand for. It is a good thing to have the required training and classes to better yourself and increase your knowledge, that's why I plan to get some of the designations.
Some Realtors do not even place those designations in their advertising materials.
