Hello Michelle,

This property shows it was withdrawn from the market on Friday. It may be temporary or the sellers may have changed their minds about selling. A real estate professional could help you find out the status of this property. Working with a professional also helps save you time because they can search the databases for properties that meet your specific criteria, and our data bases are typically much more up to date than the many websites with property listings. Hope this was helpful

Rick Snow answered:
You say that the owner of the home is your brother in law even though you live there. If that is the case then the signatures required to list the home or accept an offer would have to be his not yours. if your brother in law entered into the agreement to list the home then the listing agent is under no obligation to provide you with any documentation and would be violating her duty to him if she shared those documents with you. Agents must provide copies of all documents that you sign, if you ask for them, or they are in violation of the code of ethics.
If the owner of the home asks to cancel the listing agreement the listing agent MUST cancel the listing, however the owner could be liable to pay the commission if they relist with someone else or otherwise default on the listing agreement. For specific questions related to your contract you should contact a real estate attorney. - Tue Aug 26 2008, 06:40

East El Paso is a pretty big area. With the number of homes on the market for rent that's a pretty tall task. It would be much better if you could narrow your search area down by using schools or streets to bring it in a bit. - Wed Aug 6 2008, 21:36
