About Me
Blake began his real estate career while attending the University of Texas when he began remodeling property near the school campus. In the midst of construction and learning the market, a lifetime real estate investor was born. After graduating from UT, Blake went on to work for one of the premier downtown brokerage agencies before establishing Taylor Real Estate in 2006.

Today, Blake has become a fixture in the downtown Austin real estate market, providing consultation and brokerage services for some of Austin's most innovative residential and mixed use developments. His client base ranges from national level development firms to local builders, investors and homeowners. Blake prides himself on providing his clients with an arsenal of knowledge to best guide their real estate decisions.

Jan, Home Buyer in Knoxville

My husband is interviewing in Austin and we're curious about Tarrytown, Clarksville or Enfield. Would?

Jan, if you like older neighborhoods you should explore:
- Tarrytown & Deep Eddy - Mopac to Lake Austin, south of 35th
- Pemberton Heights - Lamar to Guadalupe, Enfield to approximately Westover
- Brykerwoods - directly north of Pemberton and Clarksville
- Clarksville - Mopac to Lamar, 5th street to approximately Enfield

Essentially, all these areas lie within the 78703 zip code. The nearest catholic school is probably St. Austin's at 21st & Guadalupe. They serve grades K-8. http://(www.staustinschool.org)

Northwest Hills is also a good option for older homes on large lots. Check zip 78731. It lies primarily between Mopac (loop 1), 360, 2222 and Hwy 183. St. Theresa's ( http://st-theresa.org/school/index.shtml ) is in the area is well recommended.

Lastly, older homes can be found in Westlake, while newer homes lie in Barton Creek surrounding St. Michael's ( http://www.smca.com).

Does anyone know what is going on with Interurban development who did the Bel Air Condos on S. Congress

Interurban is the developer of the property. The property is currently listed with Lisa & Dale Jacbson at Coldwell Banker and they just cut pricing approximately 20% in an effort to sell the standing inventory. Prior to that Karen Kelly at Van Heuven Properties was marketing the project. The rest of the units in Phase II are scheduled to be built out through the end of March to early April. It's a great time for a buyer to procure a good deal on a unit in the complex - particularly one that's already completed and move-in ready. - Thu Jan 31 2008, 16:59
