I graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA in Pyschology and went to work for a tax consulting firm. For the past 15 years, I have resided in Clintonville with my husband, Pete, and raising my 4 children.
I decided to pursue my love and interest in Real Estate and after graduating from Hondros College, I joined the Clintonville Office of Coldwell Banker King Thompson. I wanted to be associated with the best! I have a proven track record in a difficult market. My first year in the business I closed over 2.5 million in property, earning the CBR's Presidential Sales Club Award. Whether you are new to the homebuying process or a seasoned veteran of the real estate transaction, I can help!
As your Realtor, I will give guide you through the entire Homebuying or Homeselling process. For Buyers, this includes a Buyer counseling session to introduce you to the buying process. Where will you be working in the Columbus area? This would be a great place to start and then check out surrounding areas/suburbs. I have lived in the Columbus area for my entire life and I may be biased, but it's a great place to live, work, and/or raise a family. A driving tour of areas would also be a good idea for a new buyer, please contact me if I can be of service!

I posted an answer back in late May and have been watching the question ever since. I don't think it's fair that "Chicken Little" (non-realtor, just looking in the USA) can post and not reveal who they are or what their motivation is. As for the Realtors, their motivation is clear, get help. A realtor who is representing you is obligated by the license law to protect you and provide you with certain fiduciary duties.
Yes, markets are down, how much depends on the area of town you are interested in. I can provide you with the housing statistics for Clintonville (area 37). Another good resource is http://www.columbushousingfacts.com. This website is sponsored by the Columbus Board of Realtors and provides good information about the stability of the local market. You have rented for 20 years, are you planning on being in a home for at least 3-5 years? Again, our message is clear, get help from local people, Realtors and lenders. Hope this helps.

Hi AJ, there are lots of areas within this radius. One of them is the Bethel/Sawmill road area. Also, try Hilliard, depending on your needs and the type of neighborhood you want, you should be able to find something! Lee, some larger brokerages, like Coldwell Banker King Thompson, can offer a seller a lot more exposure to their property than a smaller brokerage, especially one in which the agent must cover all of the advertising expenses. CBKT also offers a lot more internet exposure as well, and we know that most consumers are now beginning their property searches online. In our marketplace, Central Ohio, CBKT offers marketing of your property to over 250k homes 2-3 times per month. For more details on how we market homes, please contact me!
