You can submit any offer your buyers request to the bank, but that doesn't mean the bank will accept the offer. Check your comparable home sales in the community. A Short-Sale can take anywhere between 2 and 4 months or nore to receive an accept or reject letter so prepare your buyers to wait. I've have buyers walk away from a deal two months into the process due to the lender's length of time to respond..or lack thereof! - Sat Jul 12 2008, 00:37
