Yes it is possible! I have a mortgage banker, an inspector, an appraiser who will all work quickly to solve those issues. I'll help you find the right house and if your specific about what you want I can help you narrow a list down to about 10-12 homes that most closely fit your criteria without even getting in the car. Once we have that list narrowed down we can knock out seeing all those homes in a day and then engage the other vendors I mentioned to help us finish the job. Let me know if I can help.

I would agree with the $800 to $1000 range. One thing to consider also, if you are renting the home to enable you to buy another home you might consider all options. Becoming a landlord has it's benefits and drawbacks and if the sole reason to rent your home is to enable you to move to another home you might look at selling the home. If you truly want your home as an investment and want to own investment property then learn all you can about how to be successful at that business. Colorado Springs is a wonderful place to raise kids! I have three children of my own as well, ages 2 through 6 so I understand your desire to land in the perfect spot for your family. Many of the other posts have addressed the market and all seem to be very good answers. Once you feel confident that you want to take the next step to look at homes, find a realtor who understands your needs and that you can easily relate to. The rest will fall into place. I live on the North end of town and for our family, everything we need and enjoy are within 10 minutes of our home. We love the schools our kids attend as well. I would say that is not too common. However, you should find a broker that treats all price range buyers the same. I do not charge any upfront fee. I get paid when I help any buyer get through inspections, appraisals and loan approvals and most importantly, find you the RIGHT house.
