What clients say about a seller's agent is possibly the best way to learn about your realtor. Please read the testimonials on my website; one is from a seller on University Drive. Hello Dave,
I am sorry to hear about this problem. One of the things I do when I list a property is schedule a weekly update with the seller by email, phone or mail. I also request a face to face meeting monthly if the listing isn't sold to discuss strategy.

Small, frequent price reductions are not usually very effective. You must reduce the price significantly in order to attract a new buyer pool.

Before you hire a realtor, you could ask for references or at least read their testimonials. - Wed Oct 8 2008, 14:40

Yes, to the backsplash...it is like jewelry for the kitchen. If your home is seven years old, it is probably time for a fresh coat of paint. On both projects be sure to choose neutral colors that will appeal to most people; taupe, beige, tan, white, etc. Avoid blues, yellows and strong colors. If you want to add your own personality with a strong color, use it sparingly as an accent (door or shutters) so that it won't be too difficult to change later should you decide to sell your home. - Tue Aug 26 2008, 10:18

It is never to soon to start searching online to get familiar with prices in the area. I recommend looking at MacKenzie Square, Arbor Point, Patterson Glen, and Hope Valley. A good buyers agent will advise you on resale history and show you recent sales to help you make an informed purchase.
