There are multiple homes for sale and the assessments are already in and paid. I would look in those areas of the Cape, the majority. The Cape is beautiful with 400 mi. of canals, plenty of boating, fishing, golfing, shopping and more..... The prices are good and you will have many homes to choose from. Sounds like you might like a social membership so you could use pool and restaurants. There is a fee but usually not as high as the full country club membership. - Sat Jul 12 2008, 17:24

The first thing to do is determine where you want to hang your license. Then if the broker accepts you into their office, you must decide and sign a contract with that office. I have never heard of keeping escrow toward a down payment, how are you going to close?? You don't get paid till the contract closes. I wouldn't try to do this as your first transaction- Why do something like this before you even get your feet wet. - You need to listen and learn- - Sat Jul 12 2008, 17:20

I would definitely stay away from this one. There is a home on the river here in Fort Myers, Florida that was taken down 2 wks ago because of mold. After 2004, Hurricane Charlie - this home was repaired and given a CO. This is a seasonal home, lived in from Jan - April - Every year since the hurricane, the wife of owner became ill while in Florida. This year, they said we're taking it down. Evidently, she had become ill because of MOLD.

There are so many homes for sale, just keep looking till you find another one. - Good Luck - Wed Mar 12 2008, 16:12

Many many times, the lead will not answer the questions presented to them re: size home, bedrooms, baths, location wanted, waterfront? and more) so the connection to potential buyer fizzles. - Wed Mar 12 2008, 15:40
