Why people are selling the new condos in Village of Blomingdale Riverview Fl.?

Most of the condos sold in the Villages of Bloomingdale were bought either by investors or people who bought them with 100% financing and their rate on their mortgage has increased making the payments too high. You can get a great deal on a condo in that development right now and it is a great place to live if you need easy access to Tampa!

Is there any hope for a family to buy a home in 33647 with no money down?

Unfortunately, unless you can use VA benefits for a loan it is unlikely that you will find a lender who can give you 100% financing. You may find a seller who is willing to do a lease option (but, most require a down payment) or someone who is willing to finance the property privately.

As far as the insurance issue goes, I also work for an insurance agent and I find it hard to believe that insurance rates are $10,000 in Tampa Palms. If you find a home you like, or you would just like an idea of rates give us a call or email us and we will be happy to work up an insurance quote for you to give you an idea. - Sat May 17 2008, 10:48

I'm sorry, I did not mean to offend you or criticize your knowledge of the South Tampa area. Just because I live in and work in the Brandon area does not mean that I don't know the market in Palma Ceia. Having lived in this area my entire life and having many friends and family members in Palma Ceia, I do know the market there. If you will look back, you will note that I said the property you spoke of sounds like a good deal for the area, though is not located in Palma Ceia.

The property Antonio is speaking of sounds like it may be a good deal, however, Westshore/Bayshore is not really in the Palma Ceia area. Though it may be "worthed" (lol) $150k if you really have your heart set on Palma Ceia we can let you know what properties are REALLY "worthed" (lol) in today's market. - Thu May 15 2008, 07:13

There are some older homes for sale in the Palma Ceia area, one in particular on a 50 x 100 lot with 2 small homes on it that is currently listed for $199,900...of course there are more and the prices go up from there. In our preliminary search there are only 2 lots for sale in the Palma Ceia area, they are both around the 50 x 100 size and are listed for $180,000 and $199,900.

Being a former banker I can tell you that most banks don't use seals anymore...but if you did not use a Realtor, I would have a real estate attorney look it over just to be safe!
