FIRST OFF, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A REALTOR, GET ONE! If the banks have rejected the other 3 offers, this home is either way over priced or the applicants aren't qualifing for the loan. Don't cut yourself short on your estimated repairs to fix the home. Hire your own trusted inspector to take a look at the home and give you an estimate of exactly what he thinks all the repairs will cost, then add another 25% to that figure. Your offer to buy the home should reflect the repair costs or even a bit lower so you will have some negotiating room. - Mon Jul 21 2008, 06:35
