Hi Mirjana,
Like everyone says, depending on the area the prices change. You have to determine what is your budget and from there determine the area. Also, where are you going to be working ? Maybe you can find where you will be working and from there you can find the best, nicest and most affordable area close to work. When I say close to work it can be about 15 minutes driving. Miami is a long city, so distances can be far depending on the area you work and live. But definetely very close to the beach !! You are going to love living here !!
If you would like some more help figuring all this out, please contact us ! - Tue Aug 19 2008, 10:12
Hello Antonio,
Depending the area you want to live in in Miami you can get seasonal rentals. Of course you pay a higher price for a short term rental. But there are many available. Once you figure out how long you will be spending here and what area you like best, then you can think of purchasing a property. I just helped an English man in the same situation as yours and he is very happy. I found him a beautiful apartment in a building on the beach fully furnished and equipped. You only have to bring your suitcase. He is now more established in every sense of the way and can now view the idea of purchasing with a more educated point of view. Miami has many areas, depending on your purpose.
Are you planning on coming on holiday, or to relocate for work?
Usually when you rent, so you know, you have to have payments for at least 3 months in advance. You prepay the first month, and depending on the building , they might ask you for a month deposit. The owner will also ask for one month deposit. That is where the 3 months monies go to.
