About Me
I have been in real estate for 7 years and with Keller Williams since 2001. Prior to real estate, I was involved in Property and Casualty Insurance as a Consultant and Software developer. Since joining the profession of real estate, I have enjoyed helping buyers and sellers in Cedar Park, Leander, Austin, Lakeway, Georgetown, Round Rock and Pflugerville with their residential needs. In addition, I have assisted buyers and sellers in purchasing and selling lots and multi-family properties in the above areas

I am moving to Austin and considering the Barton Creek area. Any thoughts on this neighborhood as I have?

The Barton Creek area is a great area that is reasonability close in to the downtown area and lakes, has great views of the hill country and there is a great opportunity to choose between either private and public schools. I am not aware how familar you are with the Austin metro area, but other areas you might want to consider are: Lakeway and River Place. These areas are both great, but are a little further away from the downtown area. There are several nice subdivisions within your price range located in the Austin metro area. Your question causes me to generate more questions than answers, such as, schools, work place, have you ever been to austin, etx. Normally, if you have not been to Austin, I recommend you make a trip here, this will allow you to get a high level overview of the area, and then start doing a process of elimination to find the right home for your desires and needs. In addition, I would be happy to assist you with a high level tour of the area, as well as, provide you with a relocation package that would assist you in getting to know the area. Where would you recommend buying real estate in Austin, TX as far as the best value for your money?

I would recommend the Wells Branch area of Austin. It is centrally located, closed to major roadways, close to the Arboretum and reasonability close to the downtown. It has been said, the Arboretum area will become the second downtown area of Austin.
