After years of listening to realtors who sound like Jon Lovitz's Saturday Night Live character (The Chronic Liar) - "I can sell your house for two hundred thous... er...uh ...three hundred thous... uh...I mean...four hundred thousand dollars...yeah that's the ticket...sure...uhh...er...what?...You think it's worth five hundred thousand?...Well...uh...yeah...that's what I...uh...said...uh...meant...sure...I can sell it for five hundred thousand dollars...I sure can... yep...And I can sell it in...uh...6...uh...no...4...I mean...er...2 months...yeah sure...that's the ticket... I'll just put an ad in the paper...sure...right....yep, that's the ticket") I have decided that THE most important thing I could do to have a successful business that I could be proud of was to make a promise to my clients (and to myself) that I would always tell the truth - straight out - "NOBLE" (NO BULL!)

I have done a search of the "Asheville area" (including all of Buncombe and Henderson Counties) and here are some statistics:
4BR/2.5 BA homes in nice "restricted" neighborhoods -
35 under $300,000
40 under $400,000
25 under $500,000
12 under $600,000
11 over $600,000
with an average of about $442,000
If you include homes that are NOT in restricted neighborhoods it drops the average to about $420,000
