Welcome to Our perfect Corner of the World
I am a life long resident of Anderson and think we have one of the best places in this country to live. Friendly people, small town feel but we have everything you need, Great restaurants, plenty of shopping with museums, and small community theaters .
One of the most beautiful area`s of the USA! We have four large lakes, Lake Hartwell, Lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee, and Lake Russell. We also have many smaller lakes.
So boating and water sports are a great activity for recreation, with 1000`s of miles of pristine shoreline.
We also have Beautiful Mountains. With the Blue Ridge Parkway less than an hour away.
Snow skiing, mountain streams, and waterfalls galore you will never run out of places to go and things to experience!!
From diamond mining to the Cherokee Indian Reservation.
Quaint mountain villages to go antiquing and shopping.
We have great trout fishing, what ever your interest we have it all here.
Being so close to the Mountains is nice especially this time of year with all the fall colors, Everyone needs to drive the Blue ridge Parkway at least once and if you do you will keep coming back.
We also some one of the lowest taxes in the country. We also do not tax`retirement income so we are the perfect spot for all the baby boomers that want four seasons but with mild weather most of the year.
We are located between Greenville and Atlanta. 30 minutes to Clemson University.
I love helping people find their perfect home and community. Most people know when they walk into a home if it is THE one. And I get just as excited as they do.
So if you are new to the area or just looking for someone that knows our areas, call me, I would love to meet you.

Yes I agree I use to live there and my son still does and they have no trouble at all. There are some great homes for sale right now and the prices are really going up every year in the downtown area. If anyone wants to view some of those beautiful homes just call me - Sun Jul 13 2008, 08:15
Yes and there are a lot of homes for sale in that area. Some are already restored and some are ready to be brought back to their former beauty. The down town area is in the middle of a reviatlization. There are some great deals if you do not being in an area that is on it`s way up. That is when you can really get a good deal. - Wed Nov 7 2007, 20:32
I vote for the Upstate with all our Lakes and Mountains we are the best place to live bar none. :} I work with a lot of out of state buyers and they are always pleased. Anderson is a great small town that is going threw a revitalization and still has that small town feel but has all the amenities you could ask for.
Here is a link to our area. - Wed Jun 11 2008, 15:06
The Upstate of South Carolina is growing and we are still appreciating. One property I am thinking of is on Lake Hartwell. It would make a great vacation rental. It is on a great lot with mile wide views. - Tue Apr 15 2008, 07:39
