Tara is right. I live in Akron and there is NO WAY that is a picture of a home on Voris St!!!! That website charges people for foreclosure searches which is a rip off. Any good Realtor can find all the homes you want at no cost to you! Please save your money. Good luck to you. - Yesterday, 12:58

In a true, well done short sale, all money owed will be discovered and a dollar amount or at least a range set by the bank on what they will accept for a sale. Sounds like something turned up later, a second maybe, that is killing your deal. That can still be negotiated if it is a second and they usually take far less. I hope you are working with a knowledgeable Realtor or an attorney. You should never offer on a short sale with the mortg. holder themselves, imho. Good luck! - Sun Nov 16 2008, 08:28

In Ohio, a basement's square footage only counts if it is a walk out. You sound like yours qualifies. Heat is not the consideration, only an exit and entrance. Good luck. - Sun Oct 26 2008, 21:23
