The best way to see the city is to take a ride on the new Seattle Streetcar (South Lake Union Transit) and hop off at the Lake Union stop for a walk to the South Lake Union park across the footbridge. Watch seaplanes take off and catch the flavor of our jewel in the city. From there it is less than 10 minutes to Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill and a visit to a crown jewel of our city, The Volunteer Park Conservatory (one of less than a dozen conservatories in the US and recently celebrating its 100th birthday. For more information visit

A visit to Seattle wouldn't be complete without a seafood dinner at Palisades Restaurant overlooking the Elliott Bay Marina with a gorgeous view of the city Skyline.
