A Little About Me
I am a fifth generation Seattle resident having lived both on the Eastside and in Seattle. I grew up in Kirkland & then attended both Seattle Prep and Bellevue High School. I am Uof W alumn and I met the Love of my life ( my wife Tonya) at the Gorge in George of all places! We have a daughter in first grade and I enjoy boating on the water & old classic cars
Business is about Relationships
I want to be your realtor for life. I offer the down-to-earth attitude of a person who truly enjoys building lasting relationships. I am up to date on all current technologies and receive continual course work and contract training. 13 years as a small business owner taught me tough but non-adversarial negotiating skills. whether buying or selling, your interests are fully represented.
Professional Experiences
It has been my pleasure to have been active in real estate & sales since the early 1980's. The majority of my business has always come from referrals by clients who appreciate my personal attention to their business. As a second generation Windermere agent, I am committed to professionalism and service above your expectations! I love working with my clients and sharing in the home investment experience!
Shaping Policy & Built Green Homes
Recently, I was invited to be part of the Windermere task force shaping Windermere's role in the Green housing movement. I am one of the first Realtors to become a member of the Master Builders of King/Sno. Built Green Program. Built Green builders are designing new framing techniques for less lumber, use non toxic glues for better air quality in the home, employ highly efficient heat & water systems & high rated insulation. As well as ensuring that the homes have carbon footprints half or less than conventional homes of similar size. Amazing. I love to discuss Green-contact me at 425-698-3254 anytime!

Wow. That is an open ended question!
Let me ask you why this is info you are interested in? What bearing does this have on your selling or buying decisions?
That said, Bellevue moved from being a coal depot from Newcastle in the early part of the century to a business center in the early 1980's. Many existing homes in older neighborhoods were built in the late 40's early 50's. Much of Bellevue was built in the 60's much more in the 70's get my drift? A better question might be what is the average age of a home withina specific neighborhood. Which still beggs the question of why is this a relevant question? - Mon Nov 17 2008, 10:51
Good question.
Let me ask you, why not send your child to your local school? Socialization and learning about diversity and differences is one of the key social functions of our public school system. If you feel your school is lacking in some area, maybe you should take the leed to be more active and effect change from within. I have attended private and public schools, both were good in their own ways.
Are you speaking about this particular school? If so, I can't answer with specifics as I have not had a child attend there. But, I think that in general public schools where the residents (who by the way pay property taxes to support the school whether your child attends or not) are a good thing and vital to our social fabric as Americans. - Mon Nov 17 2008, 10:44
Hi,
I would look at the NWMLS site by area as there is lots of really good info that you can tailer to your needs. Another of my favorite sites is Trendgraphix. Excellent graph & spreadsheet data for all types of questions.

Hi Alan,
As a Windermere agent, let me answer your question. The ownership of my particular office felt that Realtor, com was not an agent riendly partnership and that the requirements / expense imposed on agents out-weighed any web presence benefit. I also would question the 90% figure; it is not accurate as far as the real world experiences I have had with customers.
Best regards,

I love food. Great restaurants, patio parties, fresh shell fish just pulled from the depths of Puget Sound, or a plate of Nacho's with some spicey peppers. Our homes are where we share food and enjoy our friends, I always evaluate a prospective property by how friendly it is to the family as well as the guests.
