As fulltime residents of Kauai, Ron and Gwen have adopted the aloha lifestyle. But relaxed does not mean retired. Ron & Gwen have directed their love for the island and their interest in fine homes to helping people find and market their properties.Using the same promotional, negotiating and people skills he developed as a business owner, Ron has brought a fresh perspective to real estate brokerage in Kauai. Ron believes that real estate is a unique profession. “Finding the right home is both an emotional and business process. Emotional because your home is, well…your home. There’s nothing else like it in your life. And the business side is critical because of the financial investment involved,” he says.“As an artist, I enjoy getting to know my clients and intuiting their needs. You need to have a feel for what people are looking for –it’s not always easy for them to articulate. And as a former business owner, I have a firm grasp on negotiating the financial side, and there’s plenty of room for creativity there as well. It’s a nice balance.”

It's not all work though. As one of the islands top jazz drummers, Ron expresses his aloha while performing at various local venues including Trees Lounge and Hyatt Hotels. Ron also drums with the Kauai Community College Jazz Big Band. Ron is President Elect of the Rotary Club of Kapa`a and sits on the board of the Kauai Concert Association.
