Stuart Dobson has a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance and Real Estate from Colorado State University and over 10 years executive level experience running internet based companies. A native of Chicago, he has been in Colorado since 1986. He currently resides in a Thornton home with his wife, two kids, two cats and two Bernese Mountain dogs.
Additionally, post graduate financial work and significant securities industry experience allows for a very analytical, detailed, ethical and meticulous approach to real estate.
Additional designations include: CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), TRC(Transnational Referral Certified), QSC (Qualtiy Service Certified), MCP (Metrolist Certified Professional).
Some of Stuart’s accomplishments include the startup of a pure play internet company in 1997 as a health insurance lead generation business that took advantage of search engine optimization to achieve top rankings on most of the major search engines under various health insurance related terms. The business evolved with the addition of international travel insurance and at one point in time allowed Mr. Dobson to become the largest international travel insurance agent online in the late 90’s. In addition Stuart has written multiple articles regarding health insurance and the internet that have been nationally publicized.
Stuart was also the founding partner of a primarily internet based aftermarket motorcycle parts business in 2000. Again using search engine optimization techniques, the business grew from $0 in May 2000 to $6 million per year in annual sales by the end of 2004.
My goal as a real estate broker is to make certain that no detail is overlooked, that your listing is optimized for the internet, and that you obtain the best pricing possible with expert service and advice.

Thank you for all of your help in finding a perfect house that fits all of our needs! When you said said that you would find us the perfect house, I didn't think you would actually find us every thing we asked for IE: The overall design, paint color, appliances, fixtures, garage size and the best of all....the master bedroom and bath combination. All of our friend and family love the house! On top of everything else, I can't thank you enough about $70,000 you saved us!!! I would recommend you to anyone. Thanks.

We called Stuart on a Saturday afternoon from a sign in front of a house. We had called two other brokers and none would help up out and one told us he was busy on the golf course! Stuart talked to us and agreed to interrupt his Saturday and come meet with us in a half hour. Upon our first meeting he provided us disclosure forms and explained to us aspects of real estate that no other broker had ever mentioned. He really listened to what we wanted and did not just try to sell us what was convenient. We agreed to work with him and begain looking at homes. After a few times of looking with us, he showed us the perfect house, negotiated an amazing price and led us to a smooth closing. I would recommend Stuart to anyone looking for a house in Colorado!

If you are looking for a realtor who will sell your
home, like its his own, we would recommend Stuart
Dobson. He had open houses, continually marketed and
stayed on top of the selling of our home. When
everyone else in our neighborhood was lowering their
prices, he told us to freeze the price and he sold our
home in a definite cold market.

Hi,
Most brokers websites these days have MLS search capabilites. Just follow the link, and email or call with any questions or if you need additional info. Use the search by property address option.
thank you,

Hi,
It depends on what the seller is willing to do...? You will need an agent in this case representing your interests and to approach the listing agent. Can you or your agent make a strong case that if the seller does offer a lease option to buy that you will be able to exercise the option at the appropriate time?
There is a lot behind that, credit strength, co- signers perhaps, please call to discuss the details.
thank you,

Hi James,
I see the discrepancy too. The Denver market seems to be at an inflection point in some areas. It depends on where they are gethering the total market trend info from. For example, the Cherry Creek market is strong and appreciating, yet some other areas are still struggling.
If you are looking at a specific area I may be able to shed some deeper insight.
thank you,

Hi Ann and anyone looking at this question,
Please note procedures vary from State to State. Colorado's procedures are very different from other states when it comes to the foreclosure process as we are the only 'Public Trustee' system state.
thank you,

Hi Patricia,
Have you visited or are you familiar with the neighborhoods in Broomfield? I wouldn't necessarily limit yourself to staying in the Boulder Valley School system as the Adams 12 schools are highly rated as well.
You certainly have a great number of options in that price range. Is proximity to your husbands work important? What about golf communities? or open space? How important is a mountain view?
These are just some questions (there are many more) that need to be answered in order to at least begin with some suggestions on where you may want to live. As always I recommend that you talk to and meet a few Realtors to select one to work with that you feel the most comfortable with and you believe will help you make the best decision and get you the best deal possible.
Finally, the site below will allow you to search for homes by price range and provides some school and neighborhood information.
thank you,
