Merm: Closing Costs (Amount) are different on every transaction. Depending on your purchase price and the loan amount. There is room to negotiate with this. Contact your Realtor and Loan Officer-- to go over the figures. Normally it is 2-3 percent of the purchase price. Your Loan Officer should have given you a Good Faith Estimate of the itemized Closing Costs-- within 24-48 hours of being Pre-Qualified. Note: Most Sellers are covering the Buyer's Closing Costs these days due to the Strong Buyer's Market. When dealing with short sales-- not all Banks are willing to take that additional cut in the net figure. It all comes down to the bottom line. All the Best, Kathryn - Mon May 19 2008, 08:33

Greetings Merm: I would ask your Realtor--- all these questions. That is why he/she is getting paid--- to represent you. Bank Owned Properties are sold as is-- unless there are safety issues, etc-- than there will most likely will be--- a credit from the Bank to the Buyer. All the questions you have-- I would write them down-- and ask your Realtor. He/She is there-- to guide you through the home buying process. All the best with your Closing! Greetings Shelia: If you would like to rent a house-- I would check Craigslist and Denver Post online-, and the local papers--in the areas you want to live. Greetings Colby: The homes in zip code 80219 -- have been decreasing rapidly in value over the past few years. There is above average -- high amount of bank owned properties in this area. You can find great deals--- finding brick homes-- ranches also duplexes. However- the home value levels continue to decline. This area-- is easy access to Hwy 285 and to 6th.
