About Me
I'm located in Cedar Park, TX which is just NW of Austin, Tx. I was raised in the Austin area. My focus is in Cedar Park but I know all the Austin area well. I really enjoy working with clients to help them reach their real estate goals. My business is based on my past or current clients referring people they know to me. That directly effects the way I treat all clients and people I meet. My goal is to always get the best for my client so they will want to refer me to others. Putting the client first in every deal helps me grow and acheive my goals.

On of the things I enjoy most about working in real estate is meeting new people and providing them with the information they need to make the right decision for themselves.

My husband and I are planning to relocate in summer 2009.

Karrie, You're doing the right thing by starting early with your questions. However, the truth is none of us can predict what the market in Hutto will be like a year from now. I will say most of the Realtors I work with in the Round Rock, Cedar Park and Hutto areas all think the ways these areas are developing the properties values are expected to remain good and very possiblily appreciate. Find a Realtor your comfortable with. I know the area well myself if you ever want to ask me any questions. http://www.keithdowdle.com,

Don't hesitate in contacting a Real Estate agent directly for assistance. Most of us really want the best for the clients we represent and will work hard to help you find the right home. Another thing you may not know also is that agents typically don't charge buyers any fees. If you really want to understand your options pick a Realtor and let them help. It looks like several Realtors have already responded to your questions but if you haven't picked on yet I would be happy to help myself. Keith Dowdle answered:
I think the fact that you have had two offers but no sale says a lot. People are discounting your property because you have aligned yourself with a discounted serivice. When we go to a discount store we expect a discounted price. A good full service Realtor would have had a better chance at negotiating those offers to acceptable terms. A professional, hard working Realtor gets the best results for their clients. Also you would have saved all that time and money you spent on marketing to the bargin shopping buyers. - Thu May 8 2008, 12:22

I would say you have received some good advise in the previous answers. The agent selling the house is obligated to get the best price/deal they can for the person selling the house. When you get your own agent to represent you as the buyer, they are working for you. Be sure to sign a Buyer's Representation agreement with the agent you choose. This agreement spells out your's and the agents working relationship and obligate the agent to work in your best interest. I'm in Round Rock and if you haven't already picked an agent I would certainly be happy to help you. - Thu May 8 2008, 11:39
