I have been active in Real Estate for several years as an investor. I recently became an agent because I love the industry and love working with buyers and sellers. I have learned many things as an investor and I am happy to now take that experience and work with all types of home buyers and sellers.
Many investors love working with me because I understand their needs very well. Whether you are selling a rehab or buying a large complex, I have the skills and experience necessary to make a deal work and keep you smiling all the way to the bank.
Home buyers and sellers love working with me because I understand them. I have sold and bought many of my own properties so I understand the frustrations that go along with it. I do my best to minimize these things because selling your home or buying a new one should be a very exciting and fun time!

Yes, there are several in the Wicker Park, Bucktown and West Loop. I have friends that live right across the street from Clocktower Lofts on Wabansia. They find it to be a very unique property. Anything I can do to help let me know! - Thu Jul 10 2008, 15:20
I honestly have no idea on a housing swap, probably not the best idea unless it is very short term. In that case I'd say Craigslist. I actually am from Oak Lawn and am a Realtor in Dekalb as I finish my finance degree. If you need help in either areas feel free to e-mail me. - Thu Jul 10 2008, 15:15
Kathy,
I just wanted to add one thing. That is the average market time. Now what I would like to say to look at, is how many days were they at the price they were at when they sold. Meaning, lets say the home came on the market at 325k. It sat for 180 days, then lowered to 299. At 299 it then took another 25 days to sell. So at the 299 price, the market time was 25. When your home is priced properly you can sell with in 60-90 days very very easily. As of right now, Sycamore high end price range is extremely slow. Dekalb is as well. - Thu Jul 10 2008, 15:14
I completely agree with the previous poster. Right now it is a buyers market and you can definitely find one bedrooms under 300k. Make sure you get a great buyers agent that is familiar with the area. - Thu Jul 10 2008, 14:49
Kelly I think it all depends on your comfort level. I would shoot with the others here and recommend areas such as Roscoe Village, Lincoln Square, etc. If you are feeling more adventerous check out Austin Neighborhood and the far far west loop (Garfield Park area). Here you can find some beautiful stone structures that have been left to their own demise. You can find some great deals, but it is not for the faint of heart. Any questions just let me know. - Thu Jul 10 2008, 14:32
