About Me
I joined Prudential ABSOLUTE REALTORS 3 years after practicing 2 years with a different firm. My career has transcended since joining a team of full-time professional Realtors.

My background includes a career as a professional violinist with education at the Interlochen Arts Academy and University of Miami, Coral Gables, and University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. I played in the Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale Symphony Orchestras, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and did studio jazz work with several cool opportunities in the Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and South Miami, FL. I have played violin since I was 6 years old. I attended the National Music Camp in Interlochen, MI from the ages 9 until 13. To this day, I play violin and am extremely interested in all of the fine arts.

My next ten years of my career were spent in the career outplacement field in the Southeastern Milwaukee corridor in marketing with Right/Jannotta Bray and Right Management Consultants, as well as Thompson Consulting and Lee Hecht Harrison. Also was a member of the Human Resource Management Association (HRMA).

Presently, my passion for over-the-top customer service and high attention to detail and quality as a full-time Realtor set me aside from the Realtor who does it in a part-time basis.

Should I sell or rent?

Mary Zinda answered:
My advice would be to rent it for the next year and see how the market is doing in March, and possibly even 2 years from now. - Sat Jun 21 2008, 14:00

It is an exciting time in Richfield. Prudential has a new subdivision listed there, Reflections Village. Due to the fact that Cabelas is new there, a lot of interest in the area. Richfield is one of the quickest growing area. - Tue Jun 17 2008, 11:03
Mary Zinda answered:
I would suggest interviewing agents that are sharp with background of living in the area and able to spew out market knowledge. Best to work with an agent representing you as the Buyer. - Tue Jun 17 2008, 11:01

Is it bad to buy a house in a high risk flood zone?

Mary Zinda answered:
Very timely question. We are having a record rainfall for the month of June 2008. I don't remember the last time I-94 was closed from Hwy. 83 all the way to Lake Mills - Hwy. 89.

It is important to talk with a home insurance agent to understand the difference in costs of the home insurance and especially coverage for flood insurance. - Tue Jun 17 2008, 10:59
