First ask if they are a Realtor, there is a difference from between a realtor and a real estate agent. If you want new construction be sure to have a Realtor represent you. Next ask if they sign buyers agency agreements because you want to be represented. This service should have no cost to you and makes the Realtor represent your interest only. Next ask them if you find a home that they have listed will they assign you to another agent so you can be represented. You should not miss out on a home you like because the Realtor is the listing agent, and they should be happy to assign you to another agent in the company of even outside the company they work with. Make sure the agent you choose is also someone you would want as a partner, because communication is the key to happy and successful transactions.

Residents do maintain their homes and lawns in the St Marys area. Many of the new communities like Waters Edge include lawn care and landscape irrigation as part of the HOA, because St Marys has so much to offer year round; if you do not want the burden of lawn care there are communities for you. There is only one zip code in St Marys. It is a diverse city ranging from Historic Downtown dating back to the late 1700's to the very Modern Master Planned Communities with Mediteranean style homes of stucco and Low Country Style homes with large rocking porches.
