I agree fully that http://www.schoolmatters.com is a great website to go onto. Another great website is http://www.greatschools.com. This website compares all types of schools be it private or public education. There are plenty of diverse neighborhoods within 15 minutes of College Park and closer in. Obviously it takes a personal look to know if it is the right area for you. Also in whether you want to be in a more urban format versus suburban format of living. Hasty Meadows is a neighborhood with low turnover. There is only one house for sale in there. That is always a good sign for a solid neighborhood to have a low transition rate. If the objective is to live there for ten years or more it is a good investment. Right now you can get a good deal on a house and you will more than gain appreciation in a ten year period.
