I have lived in Raleigh for 10 years and love the area. After many years in the interior design business, I activated my real estate license. I live 5 blocks from NC State and love the neighborhood. A single family in this area with a great school is tough in your price range, but I could show you some great townhomes with pool close by. Let me know if you would like more info.

Moving to the Triangle with your job experience is a no brainer. Great climate and a diverse population make RTP one of the best areas in the US to live and raise a family. I would love to send you some info on the area.
