Hi Peter, I would say that Westerleigh is definitely a place that would be close to CSI and have an urban feel as well. Especially somewhere close to Forest Ave. Forest Ave is nicknamed "Restaurant Row" with many restaurants and cafe type places, as well as many other types of shopping. It is also an older more established area of Staten Island with tree lined streets and homes with lots of character.

when you make an offer is your agent suppose to present the offer to the people with their agent?

Hi Cindy, Yes you are right. Your agent should present the offer to the seller and their agent at the same time. Either in person which is the best way, or on a three way conversation. The seller hired a realtor for this purpose. However, sometimes sellers do not want to be bothered and want their agent to handle all the offers because they are just too busy. If this is a concern of yours, discuss it with your realtor. Every situation is different, but I'm sure that your realtor wants to be sure that the seller hears your offer as well.

who/what agent is succeeding in selling the majority of the properties in Tompkinsville?

I thought that was an interesting question, so I researched it myself. In the past year, four properties have sold in Tompkinsville and they were all by different agents. As realtors, our expertise is in pricing property through the use of comparatives,effective marketing, knowing how to qualify buyers that are able to afford your home, and of course negotiating to a price that is acceptable to every homeowner.
