About Me

I am originally from "away", the North Shore of Massachusetts, about 45 miles south of York, Maine. In a prior professional position, I was based in Manhattan, but moved to Madrid, Tokyo and London and traveled to many more countries. I moved to York more than 12 years ago and really love Maine, and all it has to offer. It is a wonderful place to live.

My professional experience before real estate sales includes both banking and building. My education incudes a B.A. and an M.B.A. in Finance. This makes me comfortable discussing land, new construction and resale homes with my clients.

Hi Dan - That is a great question but one for which you will definitely need to consult an attorney. In addition to complying with Maine State law, you should inquire if you need to comply with other states' laws if advertising on the web and selling tickets across state lines. I haven't heard of recent raffles in Maine but those in other states generally partner with a charity.

Hi Jack - By clicking the link provided for the property in question, and then clicking on the "Details" button, the actual property taxes for this property are shown as $1,692.
York’s current tax rate is $8.26 per thousand dollars of valuation.
