About Me

Founder and principal of Ogunquit River Properties since 1985, I have very strong ties to this community. Originally licensed, and still licensed in Massachusetts, I started my career working on the development of Copley Place in Boston. I am a graduate of Boston College and currently have two children attending Northeastern. Over the years, I have held public offices in Ogunquit and currently serving my 14th year on the Ogunquit Playhouse Board of Directors and served as its President from 2004-2008. Could someone tell me how I can get the FMV on my homes myself without going through my real estate agent?

You can research sold prices through your county or muncipality; best to search by the map and lot for your town(s). Be careful to compare like-kind properties, and make adjustments to the base price, up or down, for improvements or the lack thereof. You might also want to consider the small investment of hiring a residential appraiser as well. - Sat Aug 9 2008, 12:40
