I think that I answered this question once before on trulia. I have lived in Franklin for the last 19 years. I raised my kids here and they attended the Franklin public schools. It is an awesome town to live in and raise your family. Crime is very low. It is a nice little college town.It is near 495 and and you can easily take a train into boston. The people are very friendly, and the schools are excellent. Our tax rate is pretty good , considering other towns. You can walk almost anywhere in Franklin. Franklin has the first established public library in the country. It was also voted by Family Circle magazine, as the 10th most kid friendly town in the country. I have never regretted living or working in Franklin. Contact me if I can be of help. - Mon Jun 23 2008, 18:03

You have gotten some good answers. I just wanted to add one thing. The seller agent is working for the seller. They are working in the best interest of the seller. They have an obligation to the seller. Not to you. Get yourself a buyers agent. IThat will protect your interest. In the majority of cases you want have to pay a buyers commission. It comes from the sellers agent. visit my website for more information. - Wed May 14 2008, 13:10

Am I expecting too much from my agent?

Belinda Arroyo answered:
Hi Mary,
The key is communication.Ask him what is he going to do for you. Tell him what you would like for him to do for you. Who told you that he was not good at negotiations? Any realtor worth their salt will certainly check comps before making an offer in your behalf. By the way , did you sign a contract with him?. If you did not,you have no legal obligation to stay with him. - Thu May 1 2008, 10:02
