About Me
I have lived in Dover Massachusetts for close to twenty years and was raised close-by. In addition, I have worked in corporate finance and consulting for the majority of my career. Thus, I have extensive knowledge of the area on both a business and personal level that I am able to use to provide the highest level of care to make each of my clients a fully satisfied partner with me in their real estate transactions.

I would love the opportunity to help you market your existing home or find the ideal home with the highest level of Premier Service!!

There are three places to test the marketability of your home. First of all is it listed with a broker? If not you may want to meet with potential brokers to have them guide you as to the marketability of your home at your current price or see what they suggest. If you then go with a broker you may want the broker to expose the home through broker tours to other brokers to get their feedback. Then you will want the feedback from the broker in the market place once exposed through listings and possible open houses. If you are not getting any activity the market may be dictating that the price is too high. - Thu Aug 7 2008, 08:09

Hi Kay,

I suggest looking at both Dover and Sherborn Mass. as these are both great communities and there are quite a few families that have actually relocated here from the UK due to its similiar demographics and lifestyle similiarities. If you decide to look in this area I would be very happy to help you and put you in contact with some families who have moved here from the UK with school age children. You may want to look at the school website at http://www.doversherborn.org to learn more about the school system. My website has some information about some of the types of organizations available in the area for school age children including some local sports and theater. - Sat Aug 2 2008, 09:21

I would prioritize based on your living needs. I would suggest targeting the areas to make the home structurally safe and livable and then take care of the areas that you will need for your living quality. After these are taken care of I would suggest the cosmetic updates such as wallpapering etc.... that are for asthetic updates. - Sat Jun 21 2008, 09:54

If you look at a trend report the average price of homes in May 2008 vs 2007 is slightly higher, going to $499K vs $485K. The average sold home price for said period was $637K vs $510. I would say based on this data Westwood is holding up!! - Sat Jun 21 2008, 09:47

You may want to search in the metrowest area such as Dover, Natick as it is relatively easy to take the Mass turnpike to Worcester. - Tue May 6 2008, 09:59
