Based on current market conditions, a home in Natick would be easier to sell, since investories are still quite modest there. Longer term, Natick is probably also safer given employment opportunities in town and near town. Finally, given gas prices, locations that are closer to major cities are going to fare better as the cost of commuting increases. All of that said, I agree with other postings, that the most important consideration should be which house will you personally be happiest in. Almost any house can be "resold" at the right price. - Mon Jul 21 2008, 11:23
Memorial. Good ratios (e.g., student/teacher), excellent test scores, and kids are from South Natick and West Natick, two of the most attractive parts of town. - Thu Jul 17 2008, 08:17
I would consider some of the towns in "Metrowest" Boston. Many of them are safe, clean, family-oriented and, in many cases, more reasonable. Many of them also have very good public schools, so you won't have to shell out money for private school. Some in particular to consider are Natick, Ashland, Sherborn, and Hopkinton. - Wed Jul 16 2008, 09:56
