Robin, it just so happens that we are in the process of building a modular home in McFarland right now. It's a 3 bed, 2 bath, $179,900, 2 car garage. I have The lower level is partially finished for this price, with the bath/laundry room. It's not on the mls, but I could get you floor plans if you wanted to email me. Tonya,
Another question is if you did in fact sign anything with the first Realtor. If you did, you may want to take a look at it and see if it was the Buyer Agency Agreement or WB-36.
Thanks. - Wed Oct 1 2008, 12:24
Tonya,
There are a couple questions in Wisconsin that need to be answered before someone can correctly comment on this situation:
1) When did the first Realtor show you the house?
2) Has that Realtor called you or tried to contact you since they showed the house to you?
In Wi you can have multiple Realtors show you houses, however, it's best to be upfront with them (like you were here) and tell them first that you have seen the house before). Because, as a Realtor, they may not be entitled to get paid, even if you want them to, because of what Cameron mentioned earlier: Procuring Cause. Most likely the Realtor is not going to want to work for nothing. However, Realtors are not unreasonable and they and the past Realtor may be able to work something out (hence the reason it is best to be upfront with them in the first place). It's odd, I know, because this is what you would prefer, however, Realtors do have a Code of Ethics that they need to follow and other laws/rules/regulations to ensure professionalism within the industry.
If you can answer the 2 questions above, I can give you further explination. I am, however, not a lawyer remember :) - Wed Oct 1 2008, 12:08
There are a number of houses out there with the larger lots. It really depends on your home needs and price range. I can help you if you like, just let me know what a comfortable price range is for you and what you are looking for in a home. - Tue Sep 30 2008, 13:27
Brianna,
I have a couple friends that were looking to move out to Arizona. They just bought a nice 4 bed, 3 bath ranch home sitting on a park in a nice subdivision on the edge of East Madison. I feel this may be something they might consider. I'll let them know. In the meantime, feel free to respond to me or to contact me via my website below. Thanks and good luck. - Wed Jun 11 2008, 08:59
All good and valid options....is there one that you have in mind right now? Is this why you ask? - Tue Jun 10 2008, 08:22
