HI Jen:

The home referenced in your link is on Via Vittorio in the upscale, gated community of Venezia in Palm Desert. I looked at what is for sale that is listed on out local MLS and there are 7 homes ranging in price from $589,900 to $975,000. None of these homes are located on Via Vittorio and none of them are bank owned. There is a short sale for $715,000.

The price quoted for this home could be one of the loan amounts, but I am sure that nothing would sell that low is this beautiful community that was built in 2004-5.

According to a title company representative I contacted, there is a foreclosed home at 74002 Via Vittorio. There was a foreclosure on a third deed of trust which was $529,000 and now there is another foreclosure on a million dollar loan or vice versa. So, there were three loans on this home over a million dollars.

Sara, the link that you included in your request shows that the house at 5987 Pinegrove Place in Corona was sold for $386,062 on July 30, 2008. It is no longer on the market.
