With all this comments the real answer to the question is lost. Why should someone consider buying in this market? Is the question. We know all the things that is going on outside and the media information. Is great time interest rates are low, financing is getting more narrow but there is plenty of opportunity for the investor that has a good credit. As a Raltor I think we should be well inform to identify good properties for our clients, also help the seller in this market to get the best price for their home, or business they are selling. Is not a take order market any more. Requires preparation, information and time to understand and explain to your client what really is going on. This is a normal market, after all commotion and excitement of the previous market, I think we all forgot to really see the opportunity, excuse me the real opportunity this market offers with lower interest rates, security of investment and the correction of this market is what brings savvy investors to be so active right now, with the services of a good qualify real estate agent they hired because of the preparation, information up to date and ability to identify the changes (constant changes) in the market TODAY. - Tue Jul 22 2008, 13:12

All this responses to this question are mirror of our market tday. The market is like a "Dalmatian dog" very spotty... This are times to get information constantly, because the market is constantly changing. Reports are not actual after time. some go month to month, week to week or day to day. The best and strongest comany had emerged from times like this. Elizabeth Arden (the red door cosmetic company) just to name one. This is the best time to invest using actual information and not polluting our thinking with "BAD" news ONLY. It's a matter of perspective. If you and your agent cover this 4 aspects well you will be going to have some action going. Do you have a realistic time frame in mind to sell? 8 to 12 month to sell a property. I had been able to sell my listing on a 4 months average in this market. You and your agent are a team. Clean house, good lighting and fresh scent do wonders for the buyers.
